About Us

Building Healthier, Resilient Communities Together.

One Health Resilience Initiative (OHRI) is a registered Nigerian non-profit organization (CAC/IT/8929397), established in 2020 and formerly known as Climate Resilience Initiative. We are dedicated to strengthening the wellbeing and resilience of people, animals, and the environment through integrated, evidence-informed, and community-driven action. Guided by the One Health approach, we recognize the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health and work to address challenges that impact communities and sustainable development.

Our work focuses on public health, climate change and resilience, environmental protection, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), biodiversity, mental wellbeing, systems strengthening, and community empowerment. Through partnerships, innovation, advocacy, research, and locally driven solutions, we support communities and institutions to build stronger systems, respond to emerging challenges, and create lasting positive change. At OHRI, we believe that by working together across sectors, we can build a healthier, safer, more sustainable, and resilient future for all.
